Common mistakes
Hinge and strike screws are wood screws, not machine screws. The classic fix for a sagging or kick-in-prone door is replacing one screw per hinge and both strike screws with 3" screws that reach the framing.
Security strike kits include reinforced plates plus 3" screws.
