M2 x 6mm screws are long enough to clamp through a frame or handle scale, which makes them popular for FPV drone arms and stacks, multi-tool and knife scales, gaming-laptop hinges and covers, XLR connector shells and headphone headbands. All our 6 mm M2 screws are on this page.

If you are joining two parts, add the thickness of the top part to the depth of thread you want below it; 6 mm suits a 2-3 mm plate over a 3-4 mm boss. Measure an old screw with calipers: the thread diameter gives the M number and the length gives the second figure. On a countersunk head the length is measured overall, head included; on a flat-bottomed head it is measured from under the head to the tip.
