  • Camera cage and battery slide mounts: M3 x 12mm and M3 x 14mm.
  • Camera stabilizer / gimbal arms: M2 x 5mm.
  • Action camera protective housings: M2.5 x 5mm.
  • Raspberry Pi camera modules: M3 x 5mm.
  • Digital camera lens rings: M1.6 x 4mm. Other compact camera parts: M1.2 x 2mm, plus M1.6 in 3–8mm lengths (50-pack).
  • Eufy security cameras: M2.5 x 6mm, 50-pack.

How to choose the right size

Metric or tripod thread? These are all metric machine screws. The standard tripod and cage mounting thread is 1/4"-20 (and 3/8"-16 on larger heads), which is a different, imperial thread. Check whether you are replacing an accessory screw inside the rig or the main mounting screw.

Measure the thread. M3 is about 3mm across, M2.5 about 2.5mm and M2 about 2mm. For flat heads, length runs from the top of the head to the tip.

Allow for plate thickness. On cages and battery slides, the screw passes through the accessory before it threads into the cage, so pick a length that grips several threads without bottoming out. That is why the cage screws come in both 12mm and 14mm.
