Micro Electronics Screws for Precision Electronics

(28 products)

The smallest screws we sell: M1.2, M1.4 and M1.6 Phillips flat head machine screws in carbon steel. These sizes hold eyeglass hinges, camera parts, harmonica reed plates, laptop LCD shells and small robotics assemblies. Each listing gives the thread, length and pack size.

What's in this collection

  • M1.2 x 2mm: for digital cameras and micro robotics (single or 50-pack), and for eyeglass and sunglass hinges (single).
  • M1.2 and M1.4, 3–8mm: choose the length and a black or silver finish.
  • M1.4 x 2mm: harmonica reed plate screws, 10-pack.
  • M1.6, 3–8mm: black or silver, sold singly or in 50-packs.
  • M1.6 x 4mm: laptop LCD shell screws, 10-pack.

How to choose the right size

Measure the thread diameter. M1.2 is about 1.2mm across, M1.4 about 1.4mm and M1.6 about 1.6mm. They look nearly identical, so use calipers if you have them, or compare against a known screw. A size too small will spin; a size too large will not start and can split plastic.

Measure overall length. These are flat (countersunk) heads that sit flush, so length is measured from the top of the head to the tip. In thin parts such as eyeglass hinges or reed plates, a screw even 1mm too long can stick out the other side.

Use the right driver. A #000 or PH000 Phillips bit suits these heads; a larger bit will round them out.

Are these stainless steel?

No. They are carbon steel in a black or silver finish, as listed on each product.

How do I know these screws will fit my device?

Every listing states the exact metric thread, length, head type and finish. Match it against your original screw, your model's page in our model guides, or measure with the finder tool. If it's still wrong, we make it right.

Can I buy just one screw?

Yes — that's our specialty. Most sizes are sold as single screws, with 10-packs, 50-packs and 100-packs for shops and fleets. Each cart line needs to reach $4.99, so very low-priced singles are added in a small multiple.

How fast is shipping?

Orders usually ship within 24 hours (Monday to Saturday) from Elgin, South Carolina, with tracking. US orders of $25 or more ship free, and typical US transit is 1 to 5 business days. See the shipping policy.
